Already in high spirits to contest in the forthcoming Celebrity Takes 2 contest next month, popular Yoruba actress, Fathia Balogun, has begun to rehearse for the competition.

Fathia, who is currently in UK ,where she had gone to grace an award ceremony, P.M.News learnt, will be heading home any time from now to continue with rehearsals and taking of notes from her instructor.

A source disclosed that before she jetted out with some of her colleagues on Friday, 23 October, Fathia had begun to rehearse in a popular hotel in Lagos.

The actress is the only ANTP representative who was selected by the organisers of the dance show on national TV to participate among other screened celebrities who are to dazzle. Another source revealed that she has been trying to trim her weight while sojourning in Queen Elizabeth’s country.

Also speaking from her base in London, Fathia, the estranged wife of Saheed Balogun, an equally talented actor, expressed optimism on the show, adding that she would perform beyond expectation.

“I’ll definitely come out in flying colours. I have already started rehearsals and with the opportunity given to me, I think the sky will be my starting point. I’ll shock so many people,” she said, adding, “my target is the star prize.”

During the first edition of Celebrity Takes 2 organised by Spirit Of David (S.O.D) headed by Sarah Boulous, lovely actress, Funlola Aofiyebi-Raimi, emerged the winner.
