Ahiajoku lecture holds

THE 2009 Ahiajoku Annual Lecture will hold from November 25 to 27, 2009, at the cenotaph site along Imo Concorde Hotel Road, Owerri.
A statement issued by the Commissioner for Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Chuma Naji, the Ahiajoku Lecture is a veritable platform for Igbo academics to share, educate, reintegrate, assimilate and acculturate the younger Igbo generation.
According to him, this year's lecture will be delivered by Prof. Bath Nnaji, a distinguished professor of Robotics Engineering and former Minister of Science and Technology.
All the invited dignitaries are expected to arrive in Owerri, the Imo State capital, on the November 25, 2009.
On the same day, there will be musical and cultural programme by Imo youths while on November 26, 2009, there will be presentation of the Ahiajoku colloquium, book launch, sales of previous Ahiajoku lectures, exhibition of the popular Igbo cousine and a galanite at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Owerri.
