Top flight footballer, Yobo Joseph is very angry. And, his anger is directed at one of his very good friends. The victim of the yobo’s passion is named as Funmi. He is a recently relocated island popular figure residing in the United State of Aerica at present.
Those who should know divulged to man About Town that the footballer was said to have mistakenly credited Funmi’s bank account with one hundred thousand dollars.
The English football club, Everton player was said to have promised his friend ten thousand dollars.
He had mistakenly added an extra zero in his instructions. Insiders revealed that on getting the money, the beneficiary had gone on a spending spree. He was said to have enjoyed life to the hilt traveling to different states, lodging in respectable hotels and carousing in the company of women of different shades and hues. He did not call the assistant captain of the Super eagles of Nigeria to thank him for the gift and the unexpected increment. Yobo was said to be unaware of the mistake until weeks later. He was said to have immediately reached out to the friend on phone and the latter confirmed the receipt of the money. And on promoting disclosed he had only twenty five thousand dollars left. The footballer was aghast that he did not achieve anything concrete with the money.
Insiders revealed that an infuriated Yobo was said to have told him to remit his balance of ninety thousand dollars back to his account as soon as possible.
