Because of the rift between the Surulere Local Government boss, Hon. Rasaq Folami and his deputy, Hon. Taju Ajide, the Action Congress has set up a committee to intervene as the rift was getting messier.

Society Mix gathered that Prince Olusi, Omoba Murphy Adetoro, Fund Oki and Walc Oshun are members of the committee. Hon. Rasaq Folami is currently on two months probation and his wife was banned from entering the council. The same problem was faced by agboola Dabiri and Hon. Wazir Uthman in their days at Surulere Local Council. It is also worthy of note that Folmani is not in the good books of residents of Surulere.
