A clash between two rival cult groups, The Eiye Confraternity and Black Axe, has claimed the lives of three students of the institution.
P.M.NEWS gathered that the hostility between them started last Friday at the school gate when Azeez Ajibola, a student of Estate Management, was hacked to death at the school gate following an argument between the groups.
An hour later, his friends retaliated and shot dead an unidentified student believed to be a member of the opposing group.
It was gathered further that the victim was unaware of what was going on in the campus, before he was shot dead.
On Tuesday, another student was attacked with a cutlass and he sustained deep cuts all over his body. He later died in the ambulance before getting to the hospital and his corpse was referred back to the school authorities.
Efforts to speak to the rector was not successful. However, the Dean, Student Affairs, Alhaji Bello said that the cultist activities happened outside the campus.
“I am not the PRO,” he said and declined further comments.
Cult clashes, especially between Eiye and Black Axe, have been rampant in Lagos State in recent times.
Last month, a similar clash between the cultist groups claimed two lives of students of Lagos State University, LASU, Epe Campus.
