A 32-year old woman, Ifenwa Ogbogho, 32, is now telling the police in Soloki, Agada, Lagos what he knew about the death of her husband, a native doctor, Dennis Ogbogho, 38, who died suddenly in the early hours of Thursday.

Unconfirmed report by the family of the deceased (an Auchi, Edo State-born) native doctor had it that immediately Dennis was reported dead, the elder brother John Kadiri lodged a complaint at the police station that he suspected foul play alleging that his brother might have been poisoned by the wife.

John told P.M.NEWS; “when I called at their residence, 109, Osogbo Street, Aguda, Surulere, Lagos, I saw the corpse and the position the body was lying suggested he was poisoned. I informed the police who came in to take the photographs of the corpse and that of his wife.

“My suspicion also arose from recent quarrels between my brother and his wife when she was boasting that she will see the end of her husband. Again, I see my brother everyday and yesterday was not an exception. He was hail and hearty when I saw him a few hours before he was reported dead.”

As at the time of going to the press, the suspect, Ifenwa Ogbogho was still being held at Aguda police station for interrogation. When P.M.NEWS called at the station, none of their officer was willing to volunteer any information about the incident
